Why do people look crazy with Botox anyway?
Contrary to popular belief, the crazy ‘Spock’ look occurs when the muscles are under-dosed, causing excessive pulling due to muscle compensation.
Hence, our founder developed ARCHITOX.
ARCHITOX is POUTx’s trademarked Botox assessment and application method developed by founder Megan Kozak RN.
The ARCHITOX assessment takes into account maximum surface area combined with maximum muscle bulk in order to determine the correct dose for each client. The result is always eyebrows in neutral.
How It’s Done
Your injector will precisely mark each centimeter of muscle contraction in the frown, forehead, and eyes to ensure optimal balance.
*Note: We only treat the (frown+forehead+eyes) in combination and never treat singular areas in isolation.
How many units do I need?
ARCHITOX is a specific outcome, therefore the unit number is calculated based on the assessment.
Factors contributing to unit number include surface area, muscle bulk, and level of muscle activation.
Age is not a factor.

+ What is the difference between Botox and ARCHITOX?
Botox is a medication and traditionally injectors are trained to administer it using a cookie-cutter approach, which essentially means that every person gets the same dose. This is a one day training that is standard for ALL practitioners (nurses, physicians, derms, surgeons, etc). ARCHITOX is our trademarked Botox assessment and application method designed by our founder Megan Kozak RN, a ten-year industry veteran and five-time featured expert recognized for her unique approach to injectables. ARCHITOX was designed with your best face in mind, custom dosing based on a physical assessment that promotes balanced muscle activity long term. ARCHITOX delivers a standard outcome so that each client knows exactly what to expect. That outcome is: brows in neutral, minimal movement, and eyes more open.
+ I am NEW to Botox. Do I need a consultation first?
Yes, the consultation is the most important part of the injectable process to feel educated and more importantly, feel empowered. At POUTx, our consultation is a WEBINAR that you can watch at your own conveneience, hosted by Megan (our founder). + I HAVE HAD Botox in the past from another clinic. Can you top me up?
If you have had Botox in the past please make sure you wait 4-months from the treatment date to book with us. Please note that most providers use cookie-cutter guidelines when dosing Botox, which is the complete opposite of our custom assessment and mapping. To ensure our style is right for you please watch the Consultation Webinar, which you can access by clicking on the BOOK NOW button and following the NEWBIE trail. We do require all new clients to watch this content prior to booking their first procedure to better understand our process.
+ I would like to try Baby Botox, is this possible?
Unfortunately consumers are unaware of the long term effects of Baby Botox, therefore we only offer ARCHITOX, which creates an outcome of eyebrows in neutral, minimal movement, and eyes perfectly open. + I am looking for a gummy smile correction, is this possible?
Yes, we can do gummy smile corrections, however this would be an add-on to the standard ARCHITOX treatment or our lip filler treatment. Unfortuately we cannot accomodate the gummy smile on its own.
+ What is the average price of ARCHITOX?
The average number of units for women is around 75 and for men 90. That means if you are booking with a senior injector your ARCHITOX will start at around $900 for females and around $1080 for most males. Keep in mind we do have different injector levels with different price points. Please head to our PRICING page to select an injector level that is correct for you. *Note: these are just average numbers. + What if I have a specific budget in mind? Can you work around my budget?
Unfortuntely we cannot work around budgets as we must maintain our brand standard and signature look. If we completed the assessment and your unit number was determined to be 75 units at $900, but you only wanted to spend $500 this would not create the desired outcome.
+ I would like a browlift, can you do this?
Unfortunately ARCHITOX delivers an outcome of brows in neutral, therefore we do not do brow lifts. To learn more about why we only do brows in neutral with ARCHITOX please join our free info session where the founder will walk you through why we do brows in neutral.
+ I am scared of my eyebrows dropping, will this happen?
The eyebrows will not drop, but they will be in a neutral position. Unfortunately most people flex their forhead when they look in the mirror or take a selfie, therefore they believe that their brows naturally sit in an arched position. Some homework to do pre-treatment would be to NOT do your selfie face when you look in the mirror, but rather look at yourself in a relaxed state. It is important to recognize the difference between brows in neutral and manufactured mirror/selfie face before moving ahead with treatment.
+ I just want a lip flip, can you do this?
Unfortunately, we do not treat any singular areas on their own and only offer ARCHITOX, which includes frown, forehead, and eyes. On assessment if we determine that additional areas need treatment such as the mouth, masseter, or nose then this would be added on.
